Fitnessgram Blazer Test

After

Made in November of 2024

Decorated these tongues with the signature NAYK bootleg tags. I really like the way that diamond shape fills the tongue and is visible even when fully laced.

I tried machine sewing the back patches as doing it by hand is always a hassle. They came out a little crooked, but it works.

I wanted to try putting bigger patches on the blazers and seeing how they would hold up. I couldn’t get to the inside of the shoe to machine sew them, and for time purposes I wasn’t going to hand sew them.

The swooshes and inner patches were glued. I tried gorilla fabric glue as well as E6000 fabric glue. They didn’t hold very well on the edges, but the patches are fairly secure. I’ve skated the shoes a couple of times and the risk of them flying off seems minimal.

The swooshes, tongue patches, and heel patches all received the same plaid embroidery treatment. A pattern made up entirely of stitches.
